Professional Eugene Oregon High School senior photographer in Orlando Florida. Not too long ago, I was one of six featured speakers at the annual Senior Photographers International Convention in Downtown Disney. They chose me because of the cool, unique things that we do and how cutting edge our studio is.
Its always fun to meet a wide variety of professional photographers-in this case from ages 18-70 and from every state in the Union save Alaska, Hawaii, and Maine. 2 guys in my class were from Brazil and Puerto Rico. My staff and I did the Disneyworld tour and got 15 rides between the 3 parks.
On the last day, I had 6 free hours, so I hit Universal studios-going past Dr. Suess
and to Harry Potter-where there were very light crowds and unique shops where you can buy a wand or any of the houses apparel and other items from the books.
It was a very cool feeling being there...
At honeydukes, I heard the chocolate frogs were waxy and not worth it, so I bought the Bernie Botts beans and my kids thought they were wild. Fortunately, no vomit flavor, but there was grass, dirt and wax along with some good ones. One of the Butter Beer carts below.
After that, I went on my favorite ride in Universal which was the 3D Spiderman, three times-it was nice that there were no lines.
Even though it was just 63 degrees, I couldn't pass up the ride below and getting soaked in the Dudley Do-right ride.
but returned to Hogwarts where Potter's Journey was like flying on a broom and was really fun. The Castle at Horwarts was incredible inside and out.
Before departing Hogwarts, I had to try the Butter Beer. It was excellent. I went with the frozen as I had read it was better. Kinda like a butter scotch cream soda.
Upon my return home, my 19 year old son did some research and found this recipe for Hot Butter Beer. I must say, it is even better than the frozen Butter Beer (but its missing the cool cream lieand you may never want Hot Chocolate again after drinking this concoction!
1 Serving: 1 Cup of Milk, 1 Tablespoon of Butterscotch Syryp and 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla.
So you too don't have to see the sign below to try a taste of a land etched into our minds.....
