Eugene Oregon Senior Portraits : Nick Mack It was great photographing Nick. Not only is he easy going and nice, he was a lot of fun for me to photograph. He is funny, caring and relates well to others.
Nick goes to Marist, a private Catholic High school in Eugene Oregon. I had photographed his older sister Hannah a few years ago-
so I was pleased that he and his parents liked her senior pictures enough to select me to be Nick's photographer too.
Here are some of Nick's favorite senior photos:
This photograph was taken near my professional photography studio, just a block away....(good serious look Nick!)
Nick loves plays basketball for the Marist Spartans (being tall helps).
For this image, we did some creative artwork for the background (its nice having a full time photo shop artist on staff!), but he actually palmed both balls at the same time.
Like Heisman trophy hopeful Marcus Mariota, Nick has large hands-which really helps for palming basketballs.
How do I know about Marcus you might ask? I photographed him this fall at Steve Greatwood's backyard wedding. (Steve is the O-Line coach at the University of Oregon.) Here is a candid image of Marcus shaking Steve's hand (check out the Heisman Trophy candidate's hands). Marcus just pulled off from playing golf at the Oakway golf course with his cute girlfriend. Coach Mark Helfrich is in the background.
OK..back to our Star: Nick! This was one of my favorite shots. (YES, those are REAL flames-I like to create an awesome experience!)
His mom helped play pyrotechnic assistant. Some of Nick's favs are Vanilla Coke, Hip Hop, the color blue and his favorite feature about himself? His hair of course (can't say I blame him-he has great blonde hair)
Here is a short trailer video of some of Nick's high school senior photographs. We photographers love creating fun images!
So question to you. Would you be willing to hold a basketball/football/volleyball/softball that is really on fire? I'd love to hear your comments!
